I'm so excited to capture your wedding. I've created a little guide for you to review to help prepare for your upcoming day and help things run a little smoother :)
Details
1. Preparation
Please put together your details in a box or container. This helps me be more efficient and so we aren't tracking down all the items on your day. This includes rings, jewelry, cologne, shoes.,
II. Color and Texture
Consider adding in items that are sentimental to add depth to your images such as lace, ring box. I will have a few items with me. If there are any items you wish to be used please add them in or if you see something specific you'd like please ask in advance so I can be sure I'm prepared to style it. I work with I have, the location, and time frame.
III. Stationary
Include your invitation and save the date. If you used any specialty stamps, include these too!
Formals
Here are some tips to make it quick, easy, and efficient.
- Tell your friends and family in advance that they will be apart of the formals.
- Give them a time of when to expect them. Generally these are done right after the ceremony during cocktail hour or right after the first look.
- Create an easy list for the photographer, friend, or planner to read off names to make things happen quick.
Please note: I use my discretion when taking family formals. Locations that offer shade or even lighting will be prioritized.
Create a list that is easy to read with quick family and friend swaps.
Example:
Couple, Mom, Dad,
Couple, Mom, Dad, Sister
Couple, Mom, Dad, Sister, Grandma...
You get the idea :)
Timeline

Some things to consider when creating your timeline.
Unless its a perfectly overcast day, we will be working with different variations of light.
Think about your day, location, and when the most photos outside will be taken such as your ceremony and reception. Locations that are wide open and in direct sunlight photograph best when the sun is lower and not directly overhead. For example, a wedding in an open field in the middle of summer in the afternoon will photograph much different than later in the evening.
I'm happy to help assist looking up the sunset on your wedding date and offer timeline guidance.
Timeline ideas
- First Look- First looks allow for a more private moment between the two of you. If you decide you want to read vows but not in front of everyone, this is a good time to do it. Doing a first look also allows for family formals to follow prior to the ceremony.
- Golden Hour- After your ceremony, take a minute to yourselves and get some photos together, just the two of you. This doesn't need to take long :)

FAQ
When should I expect my gallery?
Always refer to your contract for the exact time frame. Depending on the time that you book, wedding galleries are delivered within 8 weeks after your wedding date.
Do you do sneak peaks?
Yes! After your wedding, I will send 10-20 sneak peak images. You can expect those within the first week.
How will I recieve my photos?
Final images are uploaded and delivered to you via an online photo gallery. This gallery is a temporary space to store your photos. Once you receive your gallery, please download and backup your images. Images can be printed directly from your gallery, or downloaded and printed wherever you wish.
