Just a quick drive from Bend Oregon, Smith Rock State Park is one of my favorite locations to photograph. Smith Rock State Park is simply stunning and I feel so lucky to be so close to such a breathtaking place. Central Oregon has some great mountain views, but when its cloudy, Smith Rock never disappoints. You can still get your epic views even on the cloudiest days. These images were taken in the winter on a cloudy day and I love the muted colors of the high desert landscape. I've lived in Central Oregon for over 20 years and this place is still one of my favorites. If you are like me, and prioritize annual family photos, add this location to your photo bucket list!
